BTW, Huey Newton didn't care if a mafucka was gay or not. He advocated gay rights and said that the Panthers should support the gay liberation movement. Angela Davis, an open lesbian, is one of the most brilliant and prominent intellectuals the movement has had; Baynard Rustin and James Baldwin were down gay niggas, too. A lot of that might have to do with European christian influence. In Uganda, a big reason why it gay marriage was made illegal was because policy makers were influenced by Christian evangelicals who talked about homosexuality being unnatural and a sin. :-??

Cannibalism, ritual mutilation, and other things tribes practice are different issues with different social contexts. None of them have to do with homosexual behavior that is routinely consensual, unlike the forced practices in some ethnic groups.

There really is no reason to dislike gays or be against gay marriage, logically speaking. It's two consenting adults who choose to do what they want amongst themselves that has zero to do with anyone else; there was a study shown that the most homophobic men responded to gay porn with sexual arousal moreso than straight men who weren't homophobic at all. So I think there is something to suppressed homosexual desire and dislike of gays.

Knowing this, I'd say it's more than natural to be uncomfortable around someone who views the same gender as potential sexual objects when you don't. Which is why, most faggots hang around other faggots or people who have the same sexual desire e;g fags who hang around women. Dykes who hang around other dykes or bi-curious girls.

In fact the only reason that we're even discussing this subject right now is because some suspect ass white boy brought it up. Eh, there are straight people who I know who are completely comfortable with LGBT people. They're very secure in their sexuality. It's only the down low niggas and people that secretly have curiosity towards same sex who get weird about it. Studies prove this. Just like being around a person of a different color shouldn't make you uncomfortable, being around someone gay shouldn't make you feel uncomfortable. Unless you felt homosexual desire and were ashamed of it.

Call it homophobia, call it heterosexism. Semantics. All point to fear, disgust and animosity towards people who love and fuck the same gender. Only reason I think there are Black people who view it negatively is because deep down, they want acceptance from mainstream society, so anything that is not hetereosexual makes them even more of an outcast. okay, if you want a real debate:

1. gay people spread diseases on a much higher level than non-gays
2. gay people are self-destructive (aside from the std point), they have higher suicide rates, in general a lower life expectancy and moreover every proctologist can confirm to you that the practice of male homosexuality hurts human organs (without going into too much detail n/h)
3. gay people dont contribute to society through having kids but still reap the benefits of other people spending their time and money raising kids

i dont think gay people are a real problem though. it's only 1-2% of society, that whole shit is just blown outta proportion by media that knows that controversy sells and attention whoring homosexuals
