On the other Side of the Coin we have a Chicago Born West Coast Rapper K flay.
She came up in the Nerdcore Scene, and then in the indie folk acoustic circuit, until she fully embraced her Alt Hip Hop style. She is madly skilled, Flow lyrics and delivery is all there, she has rougly the same amount as views and buzz as Snow, and is arguably as talented, though her style is more chilled. Again, no sexploitation she is all music and hip hop.
