Trayvon had drugs in his system and all injuries show signs of a struggle.

WTF. Nobody know all the facts about what happened. The only thing we know for sure is that Zimmerman targeted Treyvon and followed him even though he was specifically told not to (911 Call). That's not something someone who is afraid will do. Everyone teaches their kids that if a stranger approaches them to run and if that fails defend yourself. Why is everyone acting like he did something wrong by defending himself. Point blank if that mofo stayed in his car that boy would still be alive. He should at the very least catch a manslaughter charge though the case can be made for murder. Personally I think he will get off cuz hes white and its Florida. I'm pulling the race card bc if he was black he would have been arrested on site.

Disregarding a suggestion from a 911 operator is not a crime, neither is getting out of one's car.

Both inconsequential from a legal standpoint at this time.

Well to be fair, the facts that support his conclusion are actually among the few that are known. They are proven by the call and confirmed by Zimmerman's own statement.

this.... he could've gotten high on some loud the day before or even a week before the incident...

plus we already knew trayvon smoked weed so why is this even a story? ....

the prosecutor corey is tough and respected in florida so i don't think she would put her rep on the line to momentarily appease the public only to watch gz walk free and more protests because she couldn't sufficiently prove her case ...

so what i'm thinking and hoping she has something up her sleeve

or maybe the parents have samples of trayvon's voice maybe an old voice mail or something and i think his last phone call w/ his gf should be still available .... the two experts already believe it wasn't zimmerman so if it is proven to be martin's voice that along with the 911 tapes should be enough for a conviction. after all, to shoot someone while they're screaming for help, a clear indicator they're losing the struggle, that speaks to hatred and intention to kill.... long shot though but we all know had george had never followed trayvon in the first place, none of this would have ever happened.

"His conclusion" as in "Bookworm's" conclusion that Zimmerman "should at the very least catch a manslaughter charge though the case can be made for murder"?

If so, which facts support this conclusion?

when will the the majority of you just admit you jumped the gun and figured you should be outraged way before you knew much of anything or any facts, and now that facts are presented, youre too emotionally invested and biased to accept them?

They'll never do that. Shit happens all the time. What a lot of black people don't understand is that shit like this is the exact reason that people like Zimmerman get off. The media and black leaders constantly have the black community jumping the gun, and then the truth comes out making everyone look stupid. And as a result the black community often looks like a bunch of whiners that just cry wolf all the time. If we simply fought our battles more wisely, our efforts would have more impact.

  • So the moral of the story is if your in florida stay strapped, shoot first ask questions last..cause a nigga can run up on you and kill you for no reason and you'll still be wrong...

    Pretty much.

But he was 17. If he had a gun, he would be in prison right now. Alive, but still in prison. Trayvon would have still lost.

    nothing has changed...

the truth is gz followed a 17 yr old boy who was unarmed for no other reason than he looked like " he was up to no good" and than he shot the boy dead... and after a brief and lazy investigation which lasted maybe a day or 2 the sanford concluded that george was innocent of any wrong doing, even though at the time they failed to gather all the evidence including gz's background check we now have today

not until people got loud, was the sheriff of the sanford pd suspended, the murder properly investigated and gz arrested. and really thats all most people wanted, trayvon's murderer to be arrested and have to face a trial and jury like a marrissa alexander of florida who also claimed she was standing her ground when she was arrested and sentenced with 20 yrs in prison after defending herself against her abusive husband ...

and smdh... an injustice is injustice... not to mention if gz does go free, it could set a dangerous precedence. the 'stand your ground' law, which is on the books in 22 other states, could allow zimmerman to walk free and anyone who is charged with a murder or assault after that, even if they may have initiated or instigated the incident as long as they claim the slightest perceived threat... so the case isn't just some way to stir up emotions and whatnot

yall kill me ... lol @ jumping the gun

It would depend on what type of crime it would be in that hypothetical situation.

    @Bookworm
Zimmerman ain't white. Even tho He's half, dude couldn't even pass for White cuz he looks straight up Mexican

He is not mexican, he is Peruvian. Peruvians do not like black americans nor be mistaken for one.
