Being from houston i love chopped&skrewed music everything from dj screw R.I.P swisherhouse&slim k slow down i was recently listen to some slim k&he just chopped and screwed this song&i was thinking damn this is better than the original so i was wonder whats some songs u think would sound better chopped&skrewed

I fuck with the style. I love it. My favorite tapes are those "weed tapes" from DJ Michael Watts, where he does work on some really good bud smoking songs. Smoke Break (Swishahouse Remix) and Something To Smoke 2 2k9 are the ones I'm talking about. You know if he's done any others like that?

well most chopped and skrewed shit is music at its regular speed just chopped up.scratched,screwed or alittle slowed but when slim k does it he slows it down so much it makes ya feel like you high or leanin

I think screw going mainstream made it "fall off" like it did. Other regional music that didnt go mainstream still get the same burn in their area (Bounce music, Go-Go, etc.)

I like this kind of music too even though I'm from Cali lol. It's fun to play around with some songs in Virtual DJ when I get bored, I guess it's mainly done for the down south songs, esp when it's like Texas music, of course.
