Been going to a community college since outta high school. But now im about to transfer to ULL (University of Louisiana-Lafayette) this fall.They school is a supposed "top notch party school with plenty of alcohol available, and plenty white girls who love black niggas" lol. This will be my first time living on my own and going to a university. And im also rooming with someone that i do not know yet.

Let me add that i rarely drink(maybe twice a year) and im real serious about my schoolwork. And i only smashed a chick once, (My luck is fucking WOAT literally lol).

Since I know that alot of IC niggas been or attend college, are there any rules,guidelines or codes for College that i should know? And please keep it real, trying to soak up OG advice lol.

Also any crazy colleges stories y'all have feel free to post.

always try to find an alternative and cheaper source to buy your books... even if you have to order them online.

talk to anybody that's anywhere from sophomore to senior year in your field of study and try to see what you books you might have to get

so that you are prepared to buy them early without wasting time at the last minute/ or see if you can buy the books off

them by the time the semester is over.

buy used text books... much cheaper

that's all i got.

No actually she was just about to attend law school at lsu after finishing up her last semester at ULL.She told me once that she really havent been out in a while and she felt that all the studying and schooling really shut her off from some of her family.

My main problem has always been the people I lived with and me not having the opportunities to have a car or transportation. I'm majoring in computer science, but lately been kinda confuse on if I made the right choice, becuase I'm not to confident in my math skills. I never failed math in college, but I understand it will get harder and math never was my strongest skill. My true passion is music production which is audio engineering, but it would be foolish of me to have that as a major and struggle to find a job after.

I just got done with my freshman year of college at an HBCU named Clark Atlanta. Its in the westend of ATL, and its soooo crazy down there. But your experience probably will be different from mine, I was pretty much in a big city full of black people....

Any ideas or programs I can do now to improve my math skills? I really wanna have better confidence in Math skills. I just passed my Algebra II class with a B and i feel I should have at least made an A becuase I know I haven't seen shit yet.

Lol I'm supposely going to a school filled with crazy white girls that love blacks and they have creole women. But what I heard about ULL is that it's a big time party school and alot of alcohol is available. But Im not to big on drinking tho. But most said the school is real cool.

As far as advice go.. my suggestion is stay off of the "North Side" as much as possible, LIVE in the Library, & Chick Fil-A will be your best friend.

Stay true to who you are as an individual and enjoy the experience.

Oh...and the women there are the BEST in the state #ShotsFired @ GSU, SU, LSU, McNeese, and everybody else in the boot
