See thats what makes this shit even sicker....those kids came from fucked up homes and had no support systems or coping skills. Sandusky knew this and would use this to his advantage to manipulate those kids. Bribing them and threatening them and knowing that if they told, who was going to believe some "poor, troubled kids with deadbeat parents" anyway?

predators specifically seek out the weakest and most vulnerable kids. they're not gonna go for the kids that have involved parents and a good support system, because they'll definitely get caught soon doing that. but if they go for the kids from foster care or group homes, or a single parent that works all the time, it's much easier.
