maybe it can help me choose a first beat to spit some fire to

A dope beat isn't easily defined. It depends on what type of mood the artist hopes to set with the song, and it depends on the style preferences of the listener. The first beat you posted sounds like a textbook club beat, but some people might not feel that type of track.

Personally, I prefer solid drum lines and distinctive melodies in production. A little instrumentation - bass, guitars, keys - is cool, too. When you asked for the definition of a dope beat, I immediately thought of this one; a track I can play over and over:
