Kobe has more ability than Clyde and is much better defender. Kobe and MJ are more comparable. Niggas hate Kobe these days.

no one was getting a mvp wen Jordan and Magic were playin.... Id rather look at shot percentage and what my eyes tell me that throwing up allstar mvp and mvps which are popularity contests a lot of the time.... I watched Clyde in the 80s and 90s he had ahigher basket ball iq that Kobe he didnt jack up silly shots just cuz he could. He didnt have a Shaq either. This is where I wish we had time machines to allow players to play in different eras

Clyde played for a team that thrived in trasition basketball so shooting percentage you cats be on these days is overated. what happens in the playoffs when the game slows down and teams dont let you run? you get outta the western Conference once in like 10 years like they did. WHen you get most of your points off tansition dunks your shootin percentage is gonna be high. Kobe has been in the triangle most of his career When either Shaq was eatting up the high percentage shots for the Lakers or he had guys like Kwame Brown,Luke Walton and Smush fuckin Parker and with this latter I listedchances are you gonna be taking lots of shots to beat the shot clock off busted plays. Only person that was weak on Portlands starting line up was Buck Williams and I think he still had a good field goal percentage. If Clyde is your fave then that's fine, I'll just accept that for what it is, but to say his shootin percentage is the main reason he's better than Kobe is not lookin at all the factors as far as the offenses they played in.

Drexler wasnt jackin up contested 3s just cuz he could.... Clyde wasnt shooting horrible shots just cuz he made a crossover... Clyde wasnt passing up wide open teammates just so he could shoot over the basketball....

    FUCK KOBE

I agree.... He was a better facilitator fg % shooter and rebounder. He was giving Mike da buisness in da game and MJ returned the favor lol. watching that video MJ would average 40-50 a game in todays NBA with the rules

I respect Jordan as the GOAT,thats about it. No way he would average 40-50 pts in today league. The defense in today league is better than the defense in the 80s.

IMO Jordan would lead the league in scoring there not a player in the NBA today that can guard Jordan....the only struggles I see MJ with is there more talented SG and SF that he would have to play D on.

Well he didn't need to. He had Terry Porter on the other side with a title wave Jumper. Has Kobe had a point guard since Nick Van Exel that can create his own shots And shot a deep J? You said Clyde wasn't passin up wide open teamates but He didn't have guys that wouldn't do shit with the rock when they do get it. He had Porter and Kersey a great finisher so Clyed better have had more assist. Kobe got guys that pass it back to him to beat the shot clock cuz they dont have any agression like Pau Gasol. I mean What...you turn on Laker games and cant wait to see kobe hit Steve Blake with a pass or Mc Roberts, or Troy Murphy? Hoestly,...besides Bynum does he got somebody to trust to score ? come on nigga!

And He is way better at crunchtime game winners because he can make the toughest shots in the league so it's kind of a moot point at the end of games when he makes them fall away jumpers with 2 outstretched hands in his face to win games. Clyde wouldn't be able to do those cuz he dont take those kinda shots. I guess that's why one of them got 5 rings and one of them only got 1.

You can't be serious. I'd say less than 10 teams in today's league even play quality defense. On top of that, in the 80s they could actually play tough defense. Now, if a defender even looks at an opponent wrong, it's a foul. Lastly, there really isn't even a defensive presence down low like there was in the past. In the 80s and 90s, you had to actually respect the middle because most teams had a decent center and/or shot blocker on their team. Again, that's probably true for less than 10 teams in today's league.
  • Respect for Clyde. I always felt he was underrated.

Niggas bringing up and comparing T-mac born in the 90s just put them on ignore.

Top 3 SG of all time...only Dumars/Drexler gave Jordan some challenges.
