Here is the newly released plot description for the previously announced After Earth, M. Night Shyamalan's post-apocalyptic sci-fi film about a ravaged planet whose only real inhabitants are Will and Jaden Smith, with the twist being that it is a present-day documentary. Actually, we don't know what the ending will be, because we stopped reading after "Legendary General Cypher Raige (played by Will Smith)." If you make it past "General Cypher Raige," let us know what happens. Or don't, that's okay too.

I doubt it will. I'd say Shyamalan and this point is as much a box office killer as Will is a box office hero. After the Last Airbender, I can't see anyone being hyped to go see a movie from him.

signs was a good movie too afterall... so maybe m. night has another signs in him.. but judging by his efforts after it, i'd say he has maybe a 10% chance of not disappointing us

"Django" looks like the live action version of "Catcher Freeman" from the Boondocks.

Will passed on Spike directing "Ali" in favor of Michael Mann.
