Going to Mobb Deep, Prodigy taught Hav to make beats and Hav taught P how to rhyme... and they both ended up being better at that stuff than the other dude. Jaz-O & Jay-Z... But your list is pretty fucked up bro.

I'm not sure I would say Royce is Em's protege but it looks that way from everybody's perspective so I guess its cool.

Anyway, I always liked Banks more than 50.
When they are on the same track Beans usually kills Jay but on the body of work Jay is the better MC overall. Beans is too one dimensional with his sound.

I consider Meek to be Ross' protege but I don't think he's better than Ross. I don't consider Wale Ross' protege but I think he's better than Ross.

The producers are where I get confused. I love No I'd but I think Kanye just might be taking it to another level.

Dr. Dre is dope, Storch is meh he had some solid stuff in the past but I don't think anyone checking for him today.

lol...the ambiguity was severe...I'd say Kanye has a case for bein' better than NO ID...Banks has always been better than 50 IMO so I wouldn't count it

I am assuming when you say "better" you mean Mic skills and not commercial success or any thing else. Kanye on Jay's heels, but not quite there. Drake is on par with Wayne at the moment if not passed Wayne. As far as production its hard to say because of the ghost shit You may be comparing Storch to Storch or Ye to Ye.

The niggas that you can say have did it are Drake and LLoyd Banks, but you can argue they been as nice or nicer than their mentors.

When I say better, Im speakin on skills alone. You couldnt possibly compare anybody I mentioned with sales. Its lopsided either way.
