Ive actually warmed up to the Asik signing. In fact I would rather keep the squad together and take my chances with Asik starting than trade everybody for that clown Dwight Howard and have a guaranteed playoff spot. However I would be down with a deal that brought Andrew Bynum to Houston.

Its crazy though, out of Kyle Lowery, Goran Dragic, Luis Scola, Samuel Dalembert, Courtney Lee, and Kevin Martin the only one still remaing at this point in the offseason is Kevin Martin lol. If you would have told me that 3 or 4 months ago I would have told you to go ahead and commit that.

Thats what everyone is saying but man if we don't land him or bynum we gonna be trash next year(I'm very high on d-mo and lamb btw). Everybody keeps screaming "rebuild the OKC way" but like I said before Presti had to get ALL 3 of those top 5 picks right that he was LUCKY ENOUGH to get. Things usually don't work out that way even though I do trust morey in the draft(Lets forget marcus morris ever happened). If d-mo/patterson can play well on offense and space the floor I have no problem with asik as a defensive stopper but if not smh. I just realized something to if d-12/bynum doesn't work we better fucking move martin. I don't want to watch 30 seconds of him and fuckin lin playing defense beside each other...

Nah I cosign everything you said, just seems like when it comes to Dwight Howard we might be able to flip those picks and "assets" in a more efficient manner if he isnt willling to stay. Im all for it though if we can land Howard or Bynum long term. And I cant even stomach the thought of Martin and Lin on the court together, when it comes to defense that might be the worst back court in basketball.

Let me ask you though, what you think about Kevin Mchale?

update on the bulls: The Chicago Bulls are planning ahead for the teams future. The reason that the Bulls have traded away or let go of many key assets such as CJ Watson, Kyle Korver, etc. is because the Bulls plan on being Major Players for the 2014 Off Season to sign a Superstar Player (Perhaps even multiple Stars) The Bulls will have roughly $48-$50 Million in committed salary for the 2014-2015 Season and if Chicago decides to amnesty Carlos Boozer next summer (which I am reading THEY WILL), that number will drop another $17 Million.

To follow up on my last post regarding the Chicago Bulls saving and making cap space in order to sign a superstar player (Perhaps even multiple Stars), these are some key Players that are Free Agents in the 2014 Off-Season.

Dwayne Wade (Has Early Termination Option, so he could opt out if he wants to)
Kobe Bryant (Unrestricted, but Very Very unlikely. I could bet all the money in the world that he will retire a Laker)
LeBron James (Has Early Termination Option, so he could opt out if he wants to)
Chris Bosh (Has Early Termination Option, so he could opt out if he wants to)
Carmelo Anthony (Could Opt Out if he wants to)
    Danny Granger
    Rudy Gay
Paul Pierce (Will most definitely retire a Celtic)
    Dirk Nowitzki
    Pau Gasol
    Amare Stoudemire (Can opt out)
    Andrea Bargnani (Can opt out)
    Andrew Bogut
    Marcin Gortat

Report: Derrick Rose 'out until likely March'

Rose could be out until March recovering from ACL surgery. (Getty Images)
The Chicago Tribune reports, in the midst of an in-depth analysis of whether the Bulls' moves are financially-based or basketball-driven, that Derrick Rose is "out until likely March."

    Kaboom.

Reports in May had targeted an early January return for Rose, but March is more consistent with the tentative-12-months prognosis often given to ACL injuries. There's no way to be sure, though. Rose could bust through rehab and make it back by January. He could have setbacks and miss the entire year. It's a long and difficult process with steps along the way, but all of them have to go right for him to hit the optimistic end. And updated projection two months later of March is not a good sign.

Rose being out until March would spell doom for the Bulls' season. They might be able to maintain their pace they did last season, even after losing several key bench contributors, but there's no way Rose is back to anything close to himself by the time the playoffs roll around in mid-April. That puts the Bulls' chances at a title in the "not great under any conceivable scenario" category. And without Rose, if things don't go as swimmingly with the new cast of characters as they did last season, the Bulls could wind up on the outside of the playoffs, a stunning fall from their No.1 seeding in the East two years in a row.

But it's still early. There's a good chance Rose can get back on track, and make January or at least split the difference and return after the All-Star break. Two months to find his rhythm is much better than six weeks before the playoffs and things might be salvageable. But the longer this thing goes, the more the temptation will be to shut Rose down for the entire year. If that happens, this year doesn't even exist for Bulls fans.

Things can change just that quickly.
