1st part I agree with, the 2nd part nah. If you're a pf or a center you're going to get overpaid period. Lopez aint worth a max contract, asik aint worth 8 mil, deandre jordan has ONE SKILL and that niggas getting paid 2 mil less a year than ibaka. Is he getting overpaid? Yea slightly but when you consider the market and his skill set that shit ain't "reaching" at all.

Isn't it ironic how a system that was supposed to help out small market teams is actually hurting this small market team? I cant see OKC paying 4 max contract with that Luxury tax

PHX will offer the same Max to Harden that Eric Gordon received and OKC wont match, he's gone, OKC will be damaged by these developments.

Ibaka doesn't guard 5's...he is too short and frail. That's the only difference in my book. The market differs for fives.

I always felt Ibaka would be a good center and that the Thunder really did not need Perk if it came down to it.. I see Harden getting extended and Perk getting Amnestied.. Especially if their rookie or Thabeet end up panning out..

Good move by the thunder...you could tell ibaka's work ethic and yearly improvement had a real impression on the team ....in this day and age no way is harden taking a pay cut, some team will throw him the max and he will happily accept..

Amare has been a huge dissapointment as far as im concerned. I remember me n my homiez wuz watchn suns games in 00-01, Amare wuz puttin up monster stats in some games. Being a duncan fan and rootin for the spurs then my boyz told me Duncan's days are numbered lol!

Amare has underachieved. If not 4 injuries and work ethic, amare would be in KG,Duncan,Dirks class.

You dont know what you are talking about.. Amar'e has a crazy trainin regimen.. I blame injuries more than anything.. That and the system he played in did not call for him to advance his game.. With all that said he is ony 29.. He still has time to enter that convo.. Amare aint a scrub by any means..
