Seriously I don't fuck with BP. I thought that shit was hot when I first got it but now it's blah. I still fuck with The Black Album tho and the many many remix BA's that were made. Blueprint is better than his comeback album but not as good as Vol 3. BP2 had a lot of bangers on it. |

I think lyrically, BP2 is better than BP. That's about all though. Of course it has songs that could go toe to toe with the original BP's best, but as an album it's messy and unfocused. BP is easily the better overall album. |

You're preaching to the choir here. I've been saying for the longest that Blueprint 2 is Jay's most underrated album and IS lyrically surperior to Blueprint.
if it hadda been a single disc with tracks like A Dream, Hovi Baby, The Watcher 2, Diamond Is Forever, Guns and Roses, Blueprint 2, Meet The Parents, Show You How, Poppin Tags, The Bounce, Some How Some Way,Some People Hate, and I Did It My Way.......it'd easily one of his best. he had some dope unreleased tracks around that time like People Talking and Early This Morning. put those on there and the album's a classic.......possibly his best. |

It's all subjective- based on your east/west thread U were what, 13-14 when BP dropped? Definitely grown man shit was poppin on there. As U matured he dropped BP2, so now U gaining some understanding as U were 16. Both albums are good, but BP2 could've trimmed the fat a lil... Nigga Please was one of the WORST Jay Z songs since Sunshine IMO |

Based on the quality of the GOOD songs, you may be right, but if you look at both as complete albums... HELL NAH! A single-disc BP2 could've stood up against BP...
