Im not the biggest fan of some of t.i's moves at times, but I gotta be real... after the success and lyrical ability he displayed on this most recent album... I think it's time to give him some consideration...

When you factor in impact, sales, lyrics, originality, consistency, longevity and all that shit... He's creeping up there....

Shit, 2006 he had the #1 rap album... 2008 he #2... 2007 he did good numbers also..

His resume now has 2 #1 singles in the country under his belt, 3 #1 albums, Grammy wins and nominations, biggest selling artist in the biggest city in music over the last few years, has a multi platinum career (lil flip) under his belt... Also he brings it lyrically with his own style, dosent completely sale out... Can make street, girlie, sentimental, inspirational and battle type songs... He has the respect of his peers in the game...

He dosent have an album thats universally considered a classic, but neither does Eminem.. And the last real hiphop classic was get rich in 2003, there may never be another real hiphop classic album, due to it now becoming a singles industry.. but... He still consistently brings music to the table each year that affects whats going on in hiphop for that year...

I honestly look at T.I. like a down South biggie, more so than a down south jay-z for some reason... If he's not already in top 10 he'll crack it with his next CD...

I'd put TIP in the top 25 but not the top 10. Mentioning him in the same breath with Big, Jay or Nas is almost blasphemy.

TI is cool.

But seriously. Dude is averge on the mic at best . He just has a good ear for club and radio ready beats and most important he has " the machine"  behind him.

A truly winning forum in these days

Honestly he's interchangedable with just about any MC averge cat on the mic

I'd probably put him a little above nas overall... To me Impact and Presence is the biggest factor in determining goat... Nas aint been a major player or a force sense stillmatic, and that was only cus of Jay-z, lets just be real here, lets just be real... T.i. is the king of Atlanta, the biggest city in rap music since 2003-present... T.i. can make all types of songs, t.i. has versatile flows, t.i. can show emotion in his voice... Nas is one demensional in all these categories...

Im sure this post just hurt your feelings but its damn true...

You know its a damn shame when your album titles alone give you more buzz for your album than the actually singles you release... Hiphop is dead, n1ger....

You gotta have presence to be the **** goat... Nas aint been a big deal in rap since it was written just tell the truth... He cant change his flow, he cant make a decent song for the bitches on a consistent basis... Yea, I got tip above nas haha...
