Vibe Magazine had Jay-Z & Eminem in the Finals of their Best Rapper Alive Poll.

Since Eminem won I Decieded to see who had  the better classic album? The Blueprint  or Marshall Mathers LP

This isn't really a fair comparisson. For one, Blueprint is considered a classic among many but the argument for MM's LP being a classic isn't as apparent.

In any case, it would be Blueprint. In my opinion, a better comparisson would be The Eminem Show vs. The Blueprint

A real man doesn't give a fukk what a smut has to say...real talk

I didn't read a damn bit of that. SMH @ this smut-bucket trying to create a smut-bucket bible.

Blueprint must be the most overrated album of all time

Blueprint definitely is the better out the two even though I don't consider it a classic. Overrated, yes, but it pales in comparison to MMLP which has to be one of the most overrated hip hop albums of the decade.

Both are classic but ima go with The Blueprint

We got to keep it real, and what reality and reality will keep it real with us
I remember them good ol days
Because see, that's the child I was
What made me the man I am today
See cause if you forget where you come from,
You're never gonna make it where you're goin,
Because you lost the reality of yourself
So take one stroll through your mind
And see what you will find
And you'll see a whole universe all over again
and again and again and again and again

both are classics...hmmm I love the Blueprint but to me this is Em's best effort and it's better than Jays 2nd best IMO. Now if it was Reasonable Doubt vs Marshall Mathers LP...

MMLP was and still is one of the craziest albums Ive ever heard. Personally I didnt like Blueprint all that much. I mean it was ok but its not touching Reasonable Doubt or Black Album imo. Shit, Ill even go as far as saying American Gangster was better than Blueprint

Just based off the quality and not on impact, I think Marshall Mathers LP is a better album. Lyrically, it's not even a question of which is the better of the two. "Lyrical Exercise" is the only song off Blueprint that I think could go toe toe with most of MMLP. Even then MMLP still has "The Way I Am" and  "Stan" which are easily better than anything off Blueprint lyrically. The only thing Blueprint has over MMLP is the production. IMO, Blueprint is in Jay's bottom three albums lyrically, not saying it's wack. Creatively, conceptually and lyrically Em was on another level with MMLP.

I personally prefer Eminem to Jay as an emcee, but just being objective, I rank Jay higher largely due to his catalog, impact and influence on the game.
