I Have truly a feeling that this entire decade of modern mainstream hip-hop (with the exception of a few good artists) has been the worst in recent history, trashy rappers like the poster boy 50 cent/lil jon/fat hoe and the rest of the corporate commercialized crap have been taking this genre to the lowest level since the era of the MC Hammer/Vanilla ice (thank god tupac, naughty by nature,Cypress Hill and Death row records saved that decade of filth and kill the pop rap genre off for agressively charged rap)
Now a days since pac and biggie died, hip-hop has not been the same and this decade truly proves it, 5-0 who knew he would dominate, also ruined people's career and ruined people's lives and also ruined the genre in general, lil jon ( another piece of trash) DJ Khaled, G-Unit and the rest of this lame ass rappers make me sick, sure they made money, but they have lacked talent and heart and substance, it just sad that people who think g-unit and ying ying twins are good music, yet other truly good rappers are being pushed aside and that is utter madness, why are we continuing to think that they are music? They are not music, they are filth and it just makes me totally sad.
Why did joe stole from pun's family anyways for more disloyalty and more money for himself and that's wrong and they are they still talking about this mess after pun died almost 10 years ago, can they move on?
and the producers are now as terrible as fuck as the rappers themselves, it's just sickening that my favorite genre used to be about making good music now is about making more greed and that's wrong.
This is why I Hope 2010s get better so we can get the next naughty by nature or tupac to kick this current mess out of our lives until the next retro movement comes. This current decade will absolutely go down in history as the worst ever. and it sure is.
Goodbye and good luck.

Why do u always complain...if u feel so salty about hip hop do something about...instead of continously bitchin....of course mainstream hip hop sucks its controlled buy corprate leeches so the fact that mainstream hip hop SUCKS shouldnt be suprising...lol @ people needing or relying on the radio, MTV,vh1,106and park and any other maintream media outlet to dictate what is hot and what they should listen too....in this day and age u have to search for good shit online or by word of mouth...thats why this site exist in the first place!...there are only a handful of mainstream cats im feelin (Jay-z,kanye west, Eminem, Game, Nas, Common, TI, Lupe Fiasco,Fabolous) but then there are tons of underground rappers that ive heard about from here or was already on (Royce, termanology, Elzi, Little Brother, Blu, Murs, Cunninlynguist, Statik Selechtah, Jadakiss, Styles P, AZ, talib kweli, mos def, Joe Budden, Cory Gunz, Drake, Freeway, Nerd, Young Chris, and Mobb Deep (old shit)....
AM i the only one who thinks 2007 was an incredible year for hip hop there were tons of great albums and IMO it could stand up to one of the years in the 90's..... Freeway - Free At Last Jay-z - American Gangster Lupe Fiasco - The Cool Statik Selecktah - spell my name right JOe Budden - mood muzik III Common - Finding Forever Kanye West - Graduation Blu & Exile - Below The Heavens Royce Da 5'9" - The Bar Exam Scarface - MADE Chamillionaire - Ultimate Victory Ghostface Killah - The Big Doe Rehab little brother - the get back Talib Kweli - Ear Drum Evidence - Weather Man Pharoah Monch - Desire TI vs TIP 50 Cent - Curtis
