Nas is the best rapper alive. I'll admit that he had his bad period,
but he has also proved that Illmatic wasn't just a "fluke" of some
kind...songs like "Made you look" and "One Mic" and "Bridging the Gap"
demonstrate that. Jay-Z is good, but he just doesn't have the lyrical
capabaility to match Nas.


 


 


Nas > Jay Z.

Nas is better because he stands out from the rest of the rappers by singing about stuff that you actually havent heard before, where as jay z blends in with the money cash hoes rappers.

Hmmm... Nas is the better lyricist, but Jay is the better rapper. He can do more things like dude above says he's more versatile than Nas, he can be lyrical, he can make pop reccords, he has an ear for beats, he can be hood, he can do club joints, be conscious, etc. Nas either can't do some of these things well or has a major problem with them IMO
