In fact this might be ye's best album artistically, lyrically.. concept wise ... iIguess it's simply a matter of you allowing ya mind to get to use to kanye doing more than just "rapping' defintely out of the box, but not garbage  like of Dedication 3 proportions.

Man!!!  You are right.  It aint garbage.  But....he made such a drasctic change that anyone who has come to expect something out of him is going to be rediculously dissappointed.  I like a few songs off of it but it doesnt even border on the lines of hip-hop.  He sings, the beats are bland, simple, and blurry IMO.  While there is a couple catchy beats on there, the lyrics really dont make up for it.  Whats with the 2 bar, go to the painfully long choruss shit?  Seriously, he hardly sings/raps on this shit.  Generally, I have no problem with a hiphop artist tryin to evolve.  Usually, Im all for it.  Personally I loved his last joint (album that is).  But it seems like he wanted to go so far outside the "box" that he may have forever lost a large core of his intended audience trying to do something so drastically different. 

Worst part is..the autotune shit is tolerable to a degree.  What makes this album bad is that there seems to be no integrity behind it.  It sounds as though it was slapped together on some experimental type ish, put out and its almost as if he's saying, "fuck yall, Im finna do what I want, Im Kanye, and whether you like it or not means nothing to me" type shit.  I mean no dissrespect to the man but this album sounds as though is was based off of emotion rather then capability.

All the tracks I've heard on the album are HOT garbage.  And you know what makes it worse??....it's that Kanye's singing on the tracks, but hasn't had any singing courses or training.  It's like he's winging it, like "**** it, I'm gonna' try to pull this off and I know I can't sing."  That autotune doesn't do justice for everybody.  808's is the pure definition of a weed plate.  If you're a weirdo, you'll probably like this album.  Listen to "Through The Wire" then go listen to the 808 album.  Shyt is mind boggling how he's at this point in his career.  But this 808 shyt is just not my thing.

Worst album in the history of hip hop.........if you ask me bout it. And I'm a Ye fan...............
