"The concept is basically the grown version of Big Boi." "I came out on Southerplayalistic at 15-16-years-old, I was Big Boi. I've matured, I've been around the world and I have grown up, so now it's all about 'Sir Luscious Leftfoot,' the knight in rhyming armor is here."

"You can come with the record that people are just going to dance to," Big Boi said. (He allowed that the new tracks that were guest-produced by Scott Storch and Lil Jon, as opposed to the longtime OutKast collaborators Organized Noize, fall under this heading.) "But with the social and economic climate of the world right now," he added, "I feel responsible. With us it's always been a responsibility to make people think."

He caught himself. "I keep saying 'we,' even though it's a solo album. Me and Dre are like brothers, man. I'm putting this solo disc out, and then we're going to come back with the next OutKast record."

I think it will actually be a solid album, but I know he ain't gonna cater to the pop-hoppers, so it probably won't do major numbers....the airwaves didn't really jump down on that one single he had with MJB, but it was hot actually....

I am prediciting it to be a solid album.

I am also expecting few features and most likely strictly Southern artists.

I think it should atleast go gold, Outkast has a strong and loyal fan base. I'm looking forward to it.

The chosen one from the land of the frozen sun
When drunk nights get remembered more than sober ones
Walk like warriors, we were never told to run
Explored the world to return to where my soul begun
Never looking back or too far in front of me
The present is a gift
and I just wanna BE

I think it'll be a great album. Big Boi is highly underrated and hopefully his talent will shine through on his album.

As for sales, if Big Boi can make a hit of "The Way You Move" caliber, he'll have no trouble getting a gold plaque.

I'm looking forward to it. It seems like it's going to be one of the more interesting releases of '09 since he isn't giving too much info on the album. It's also interesting, b/c I don't know what to expect. I think it'll be a nice album.
