Will the Lakers solidify themselves as the greatest franchise in history? Cuz if Bynum becomes a good big man like niggas been saying for years, his rise will coincide with Kobe's decline. Which means that when Kobe's a shell of his former self and I mean when he's only able to put up 20-22 a game(some shell huh?) the lakers would still be dominant. I mean for real, if Bynum grows and matures his game, that's another 10 years of dominance for the lake show.
what say you?
P.S. its a BIG if, but let's not argue the if, argue what the impact of this if would be.
hey fellas, wanna take a look at my penis? CHEA!

i was speaking on this same exact subject last nite coincidentally.. i think once kobe slows down like you pointed out i can see bynum probably being the face of the franchise if he can stay healthy and polishes his game.. bynum had a nice stretch last year right before he got hurt where he was playing like one of the top 3 centers.. he has potential and is only like 22 years old.. imagine 3 years from now bynum will be a difference makeron the squad and can probably take over the team if he stays developing.. bynum has talent he just has to keep his ass on the court |

it's hard for me to see it, I really feel like this kid might be a bust...i dunno but i agree if that big IF is accomplished the Lakers will be dangerous long after Kobe is dominating.

I could see it. When he started playing like he was worth all the commotion last year, no one really had an answer for him. The only problem is the injuries. He went the playoffs on that bum knee and that did untold damage. Right now, he needs to go to GNC and invest in some goddamn vitamins. Smh@all these athletes not up on vitamins.
No way in hell you fall apart like Old Face out in Portland if you're getting proper nutrition.

it's hard to find squads that have been successful with two big men...Gasol being there is going to stifle his growth a little, players know what Gasol can do and they're going to be more comfortable giving him the ball...Bynum will be good in my eyes if he just becomes a put back and rebounding beast

He doesnt even have to develop into a 20-10 guy for them to dominate. If he can be a 16-8-2 blocks a night guy and stay healthy, LA is in great shape. Gasol, Artest, Kobe and Odom will help on the boards and Gasol will space the floor. If he can cut the stupid fouls, he'll be fine

He'd have to get tougher, but even still he could be a top 3 center in the league... as much potential as he has, Dwight and Brook Lopez have it too
