do you feel that people of color grown soft to tragic issues that takes place in todays world? like the sean bell, jena six, the latest thing being the kid shot in oakland by the transit police. how come there has not been a major riot since the rodneyking issue? does that mean that todays youth are scared? or do they feel that their voices or actions wont make a difference? i think if the above cases would of happened before the early 90's some crazy stuff would of went down.
The best victory is when the opponent surrenders of its own accord before there are any actual hostilities...It is best to win without fighting.

i think theres just so much going on its so hard to keep up...that we just read about it...shake our heads, pray on it and move on with our life maybe we feel some things are just so out of our hands we can't do much to change it

Well I can only really speak for myself but if the shit ain't at my door I could care less. The world is filled with shit that has happened, currently happening, and going to happen. I send my thoughts and prayers to certain situations and keep it movin'. Got enough going on in my life to concern myself with and then some...

They're not scared, but every day you hear bad shit on the news, it gets to the point where you just stop giving a shit. If the Emmit Till incident happened today, it wouldn't have been as big as it was then. Honestly, EVERYDAY you hear bad news, you get desensitized. Think of it like a soldier in war. It gets to the point where death is a joke to you cuz you see it so much.
