If you only now realize the Two Party system sucks you must've been in a coma the rest of your life. That shit is the foundation of everything wrong with today's politics. It's the power center of both the Democrats and Republicans. They need that shit intact because it allows them to dominate the Senate without any meddling independents. If it wasn't for the Two Party system pushing you into one of their boxes, independent center politicians would run America. That's why the Democrats won't allow the GOP to destroy themselves. If the GOP breaks, so does the Two Party System and that would end with the Democrats actually having less power than when they can 'compete' with the GOP. Now they can run either over 50% of the senate or under. If the system would become 'free-for-all', their share of the senate would be significantly less. Anarchism is not a romantic fable but the hardheaded realization, based on five thousand years of experience, that we cannot entrust the management of our lives to kings, priests, politicians, generals, and county commissioners. Anarchy is the true nature of all things. Monarchy, democracy, communism, all useless forms to control the human mind. But a mind cannot be controlled. It cannot be restrained. It has no boundaries. Exactly, I do not think threadstater understands his history, and why we developed a two party system. I am anxious for his answer to my question though. He still has not told me why he wanted Cynthia McKinney as his president either; seeing as though she only ran as a green party canidate to earn money, but when she needs to win a seat she runs as a democrat. HMM, I think he just does not want to answer real questions.......

Why does there need to be a distinction between left and right anyway? The two party system doesn't allow the middle way, the best of both worlds, unless you want to vote for an independent who has far too little influence to campaign like the big guns.
