Unfortunately you are probably wasting your time posting articles like this. People are soooooo brainwashed by the media they fail to even comprehend anything that depicts Israel in a less than flattering light.

Instead of reflexively trying to discredit something and making yourself look foolish, learn how to read and don't take things out of context:
"The above-mentioned Israeli companies and others are important software and technology suppliers for not only the American telephony companies, but for the NSA itself. Bamford claims that 80 percent of all American telephone transmissions are conducted by means of the Israeli companies' technology, know-how and accessibility. Thus, Bamford believes, the American intelligence community is exposing itself to the risk that the Israeli companies will access its most secret and sensitive digital information.
What do you disagree with that? Is his opinion that the US is possibly exposing itself false? Hasn't Israel spied on the US before? Is it far fetched to believe that companies established by Israeli secret agents and provide 80 percent of the tech for US telephone transmission companies can be a problem?

that he points to a circumstantial relationship still doesn't provide backing. the parts you bold either involve the phrase "Bamford believes" (which doesn't give backing) or are simply the detailed description of said "circumstantial relationship." great, but there's a reason why the phrase "Bamford does not provide any backing for this thesis" is in that article. |

It is a fact that those companies have major control of our telephone transmissions. It is his belief that there is a possibility of misuse of this access and i am asking you is it far-fetched, that is what we are discussing in this thread? Just look at the title of the thread, it is a question not a statement posed as a fact.
Do you not see a problem with your countrys telephone transmissions being in the hands of former intelligence agents of another country?
What kind of backing does he have to provide? He is saying there is a possibility? It is like me saying there is a possibility that if i take Top Secret information to be copied at Kinko's that somebody might get a hold on that information, what backing do i have to provide, how do you provide backing for the possibility of something happening? He said Israel spied on the US before which is a fact and this alone should be a reason for not allowing these companies to have this control and access.
