So I picked up Dershowitz new book, why I put money into this hucksters pockets, I dunno, but I digress. I read somethign at the beginning which I'd like to share and see what the Illest community has to say. So he put you to the test IC, he challenged you. He Wrote: " I challenge .... to dispute the following propositions: if Israel's military enemies - Hams, Hezbollah, Iran, and other terrorist groups and nations --were to lay down their arms, stop firing rockets, stop sending sucide bombers, and stop threatening to wipe israel off the map, there would be peace If Israel were to lay down its arms, there would be genocide. He who commits injustice is ever made more wretched than he who suffers it. - Plato Democracy... is a charming form of government, full of variety and disorder; and dispensing a sort of equality to equals and unequals alike. Violence as a way of achieving racial justice is both impractical and immoral. It is impractical because it is a descending spiral ending in destruction for all. LOL, as if there was peace before the existence of Hamas, Hizballah and the Islamic revolution in Iran. What a silly statement by Mr. Dirtshowitz. Also he leaves out the reason why Palestinians and Lebanese hate Israel, as if there is no reason for it. That doesn't mean a genocide would be justified and i doubt that it would occur, Arabs had plenty of chances to commit genocide against Jews and they didn't do it. Stopping the occupation and settlement buildings has nothing to do with Israel laying down its arms or not.
