With maybe two or three exceptions (like yesterday), I've been sleeping better since I stopped doing aerobic exercise (jumping jacks). I thought it was because I was doing too much (more than 150 minutes a week, I was doing at least 30 min. every day for around 2 years and 60 min. a day or over 1 year before that) but when I did it again just once after more than a week without it my insomnia came back. Is there anything wrong with just anaerobic exercise (push-ups/crunches/squats, at least 48 hours rest between sessions) by itself or is aerobic exercise in moderation necessary? If I start doing it again I won't do more than 150 min. a week (30 min. every day for 5 days with a 2 day rest).
