I have a little side catering business that I do, pretty much upon request. It basically started with family members being on that nigga shit. Inviting you to a baby shower/birthday party/barbeque and being like "oh yea, and can you bring a dish?" Well I now CHARGE for those dishes, cause casually asking someone to make a dish for 50+ people is kinda rude, especially when you call yourself hosting an event. Why are you inviting people over and having them supply the food? I mostly make things like spaghetti, lasagna, sweet potato pies, pinwheel sandwiches, finger foods, etc.
The only thing I had to do to start it was apply for a tax ID number. It's out of my kitchen, and by request only, so that makes it very simple to carry out. That also makes it kinda hard cause I'm the only employee and I can't turn down any requests, unless I'm not given enough notice ahead of time. I had to wake up at 4 AM on xmas eve to bake 7 cakes. But I do make a nice profit. I get to write off utensils, my ingredients, and all that stuff. It's alegit side gig that I enjoy.
Some of my stuff...
Stole this from a youtube tutorial and made it for the mister on V-Day
