At first I got really REALLY excited about Big Daddy Kane... And then I got furious when I saw 2 Chainz name on there. There are a lot of acts I'm really excited to see on this list, but the fact that there's this many wack acts on the bill is a little annoying. For so long I've been eagerly awaiting to go to a Rock the Bells, and I mean I'm still excited but damn, does commercialism really have to smack such a prestigious festival smack across the face?

I've been on the verge of going to this two years in a row... and have missed out both times due to some bullshit. History will not be repeated this year. I know I'm going. Real excited to see who they unveil.

In comparison to some of the other albums judged in the last couple of months (Apollo Brown & OC, Mayday), idk... I liked those two more than I liked Control System.

And I understand where he's comin from and the power of demographics... but c'mon son. If we stick to our guns and support what WE like, artists will cater to us too. Let's just worry about the music.
