BoB clearly tried to crossover with Nothing on You and Airplanes, the corny ass nigga didn't even wright those records.
The lame mf fucked up because he didn't cross over making organic music, and now he is forever pigeonholed to those two records.I'm not a fan of that dude at all, he is like Andre 3000 without the soul and individuality

lol Kendrick basically had about the same commercial success as J Cole, only thing he had that J Cole didn't get was the critical acclaim.

He already broke down why Hot 97 play certain records, it's all based on research and ratings. Can't say i blame Hot 97 one bit, what fucking business is gonna market to a niche audience and not go for the highest ratings.
Business is business, all that appeasing some hiphop head can go else where.

Difference is pop and country acts arent making mixtapes and watering down there product. If you're giving me something for free (especially when it's better than what i'm paying for), what incentive do i have to hit the record store or itunes to support your shit.
Hiphop music has lost it's value outside a few acts (Em, Jay, Ye, etc)
