I typically try to stay away from meds unless I see no other viable alternative. I let me body do what it's suppose to do naturally. In dudes case, he should take the antibiotics though. Infections are no joke.

Overmedicating isn't good for the body and I definitely don't trust all the bullshit that doctors prescribe. One day "it's safe". They next day "it has been found to cause testicular cancer". The whole pharmaceutical biz is a hustle. The money is not in curing, but prolonged, expensive treatments. Imagine that.
