I know BET has to get their ratings, but these nominations make little sense.

Nas being a "Centric" rapper now! C'Mon, dude dropped a #1 album out of all genres in his first week and had (IMO) the best rap album of the past year. Dude should've been nominated for hiphop artist of the year.

I didn't know Jay Z & Kanye dropped an album in the last 12 months!

French was pretty stupid for even putting his 2 cents in the Rick Ross/50 Cent feud in that magazine (Vibe I think). Especially since French was supposedly one of the people that helped film DJ Khaled's mother at her job sleep and his mother's crib and he hasn't sold one record yet.

I think French let the fame get to his head.

Honestly, I'd rather see Shawty Lo and his baby's mothers get paid via a reality show than Lo go back to what he was doing before his rap career.

I don't promote ignorance, but this can't be any worse than Jersey Shore, Bad Girls Club, Basketball Wives, or any other rachet reality shows.

I think Nikki got too big headed indeed for being such a talentless prick. Her "Freedom" track isn't too bad actually, but seems a little too late.
