I tell yall what. I can respect the co-sign from somebody that is considered one of the forefathers of hip hop than a bunch of bloggers. They survived the bling bling era, went thru a serious dry spell that almost ended the whole label, reinvent themselves and also branch out into other venues. Now its funny how we say we respect niggas who grind and work hard for what they have.....Now we see a label that is the blueprint of everything we talk about and yall don't respect it cause of what???? Regardless of how they got there almost 20 years of relevance is nothing to downplay. BTW I am nowhere near a Cash Money fan, I just respect people have worked hard to achieve the success they have.
When me and my dudes first heard Playas Ball on Rap City....our minds were totally blown. It was so smooth and and different than ANYTHING that was out there. When I bought the album it cemented me as an Outkast fan for life. We bumped that album ALL summer and still will pull it out from time to time when needed. Not to many albums you can say you still bump 20 years later.....Congrats Outkast.
