One of the greatest labels in hip-hop. Period.
Duck Down Records began in 1994. How many other independent labels from that time period still exist today?? How many of them are releasing music on a consistent basis? Probably count that number on one hand.
They set the current blueprint on how to run an independent label and be successful.

CD's Are The New Tape Cassettes
Rather purchase the actual cd's and make my own MP3/AAC files for other devices like my phone because they always wind up sounding much better than what you get off itunes and amazon.
My only gripe with buying cd's is that alot of times nowadays is that the digital version will have extra/bonus tracks that the cd will not.

I still cop CD's from Amazon because they are half price or less than what best buy, etc. sells them for.
Rip the CD to FLAC files then it goes on the shelve to collect dust.
