So I guess you intend to work at petco for the rest of your life? You already said he was paying for your education. So one day you'll be in a position to contribute to maintaining the lifestyle of whatever lifestyle you guys intend to have. Its obvious your currently in a healthy relationship and I can't knock it. But you have sold out your own people in doing so. You'll always be a sellout in the eyes of blacks who do get it. The legacy you'll leave behind will contribute to the degradation of blacks. Your children will resent ever having a black mother and assimilate themselves further. I see it happen all the time.sweetheart93 wrote: »Ioniz3dSPIRITZ wrote: »How have I demonized innocent people? I think the basis of our argument has been over emphasized in this thread. I don't need to explain to you what racism is. I don't need to explain why interracial marriage is damaging for a people who are disproportionately powerless. Your marriage is of no use to the black community. The wealth you generate will ultimately end up in the hands of whites. Your children will become more assimilated than you are and marry whites as well. And in doing so they'll further contribute to the success of another people. This is ultimately the legacy you'll leave behind. You serve absolutely no benefit to the betterment of your own people. And judging from what you have said in previous post I don't expect you to care. Your delusion of racial harmony has blinded you into looking at things from a broader perspective.
On a side note people, this is why it is so important that we teach our children the truth about who they are and their position in the world. This girl's parents obviously failed to do so.
lmfao I. am. done. The wealth I generate? nigga I work at petco part time. My husband is paying for my education and he has his own business, I'm living in his house rent free, and he bought me a car. but yet somehow I'm damaging the black community. Trying to make a point while not knowing all the facts. lmfao
@the bold, I have 2 sisters that are married, both to black men...we were raised the exact same way. I guess they failed there too, right? My parents told me to find a man that loves me and will take care of me and I did. Not once did they say he has to be black.

Here are guys whose mission is to give millions of shoes to African kids.

TOMS was founded on a simple premise: One for One. Every purchase you make, TOMS will help a person in Need.

Back in 1995 founder, Toby Tanser, was training athletics in Kenya. Lost on foot in the Mara he discovered true charity and support from the Kenyan people. Leaving Kenya (shoeless) he was arrested as a vagrant, upon arriving in Sweden (in the snow). He discovered others too wished to help and give shoes.
One act lead to another; teams were formed, races were held.
