@the bold, I have 2 sisters that are married, both to black men...we were raised the exact same way. I guess they failed there too, right? My parents told me to find a man that loves me and will take care of me and I did. Not once did they say he has to be black.

And thats great your folks taught you to find a man who loves you. But they didn't teach you anything past that. Marriage is just as much a political endeavor as it is a relationship between two loving people. It has significant ramifications when comes to enhancing state of the community.
