  • Warner Bros. Wants Ben Affleck to Direct 'Justice League'

SMH at the revisionist history in here. Could not the same qualms have been made about one Christopher Nolan before Bats. I seem to recall him having a short but solid resume under his belt before being handed the reigns. Going by the logic in here though he never would've been considered. I don't recall Whedon being an accomplished blockbuster movie director either. Say what you want about his acting, as a writer and director, the dude has talent. You niggaz biases are clouding your perception. Either way doesn't look like he's gonna do it anyway. I do think that what this might indicate (based on the style of director Afleck has shown to be) is that WB intends to stick with the more grounded (as grounded as one can be when your dealing with fantastical elements that is) approach that has been set in the TDK trilogy and the coming Man of Steel.

The Difference Between Nolan And Affleck Are That Nolan Has 3 Critically Acclaimed Classics With The Following/Memento/And The Excellent Remake Of Insomnia...Affleck Has Too Aight Overrated Unoriginal Crime Dramas And Too Be Honest The Nolanverse Batman Trilogy Is A Little Overhyped/Overrated Anyway..Whedon Has Experience With Fantasy/Sci Fi Shit From His Shows And Even Wrote One Of The Best X Books Ever (Astonishing)...The Iron Man Movies Were Comedic In Tone So Favereau Was A Shoe In For That Franchise

You do realize that Gone Baby Gone and The Town are both critically acclaimed right? Your personal opinion of them may differ but BOTH are sitting at 94% on Rotten Tomatoes. There's also buzz about his new flick Argo. Explain again how that is disimilar to the path Christoper Nolan took? Not to mention he co-wrote an Oscar winning movie. And I realize Whedon had experience within the sci-fi genre. I'm speaking specifically to the point of his experience directing big screen movies which is significantly different than the small screen, since many seem to be hung up on experience. Whedon just had Serenity under his belt which was an extention of Firefly. Like I said, yall biases seem to have clouded your perception. But I digress. It's all a moot point anyway if the reports are true that he turned it down.

This movie was shit...no real questions were answered...the human that decomposed himself in the beginning WTF?? And I don't see how Aliens are tied in to the plot other than to hype fans of the series....I wish I had two extra hands...Smh

You mean the engineer? He was sacrificed. He is the link between us and them. The Aliens were created by the engineers as well, essentially as a form of WMD.
