He needs to just say he's out and stop drawing attention away from the players who've actually put in the work all season and so far in the playoffs.
Every fucking Bulls game always has his injury status discussed, "will he play or won't he?" Same shit will happen on Wednesday, answer will be "he ain't ready". Same shit will happen on Friday, answer will be "not yet". Same shit will happen on Monday, answer will be "soon". SMH
I said this 2 days ago in the NBA thread.
At the end of the day, it should have been deaded from time ago with a simple comment like this:
"I ain't ready mentally this season to compete given the extent of the injury, but come next season I'll be good to go"
And if he came back earlier than expected, it would have been looked at as a gift or blessing.... shit it may even be seen as him showing tenacity to get back in there and be down for the team.

No, I said his teammates probably aren't bothered by it because they already know he is not coming back for a fact, while the fans do not. That is the difference, if he outright told the fans he wont be back this season as well, most will probably drop the issue as well.
