rap is on the same path that rock was in the 90s. It's not dead yet, but you can see the end in sight. Drake(effeminate) is one of the most popular hip hop artists. and then you got a bunch of RnB singers trying to be cute, licking their lips and dancing around like bitches.
RnB is basically Pop music now. Rihanna and Chris Brown both sounding like Avicii with some of their recent singles. Sounding like straight up house music. Too many sell out rappers getting on pop songs. Juicy J on that Katy Perry song for example. Mike Will producing Miley Cyrus album. etc.
then i heard Pharrells new songs ('Get Lucky' and 'Happy') and before I knew who the singer was, I thought they were MAROON 5 songs. No joke.
If you compare todays "hip hop" with hip hop from the 90s, it doesn't even sound like the same genre.
jayz has that distant "i don't wanna be here anymore" look in his eye. Like he wants to get up and go for a walk to get himself out of the uncomfortable situation but he's scared to leave Beyonce alone with the other guy
