real shit though. one of my buddies hated school, but his parents really wanted him to go to college, so they put all of their resources together to send him to a for-profit art school even though he himself admitted he wasn't built for college. 2 years later he drops out and now they're in hella debt.

his 2 younger siblings who had more ambition, and better grades got accepted to prestigious universities had to settle for state schools because that's all their family could afford. had they just accepted that college wasn't for everyone, it would've worked out better for everyone.

my house was always low on utensils. every time i went to somebody's house as i kid i'd always be amazed by how many extra knives, spoons, and forks they had. like damn, these niggas could go 3 days without washing the dishes and be good.

you feel me? especially here in la. its taquerias on every other street and some niggas still wanna eat taco bell. real mexican food isn't even that much more expensive.

cities like la or ny are too big, and have too many nice areas to make a list like this. cities like compton, richmond, gary, east st. louis etc. are all small enough that there are almost no nice areas to bring their crime rates down.
