Lupe said, as he's said before regarding his music that he isn't trying to tell you how to live your life, but rather point out the ills and wrongs in the world no one seems to talk about. His objective was to get you to talk about, and that as long as that occurred he's good.

man I got plenty fuck ups. But one I always kicked myself in the ass for was some shorty in my HS staircase. She telling me how the hallway is packed and we should go to the stairs. I'm like cool. Shorty takes me to the most secluded staircase in the whole school. I sit down, and she sits right between my legs. She's giving me the look, and me not being used to it literally falling on my lap, I freeze. Shorty even went as far as to ask me if there was anyone from the group I was feeling, or if there was someone I wanted to fuck. I gave her the run around until lunch period was over. A nigga never felt so ashamed in his entire life. Funny thing I tried to talk to her years later and she wasn't wit it. lol young nigga story
