americans treat their parents like shit and the more money they have the worse they treat their parents, shit is sad
Mother comes before a woman I meet. Wont even go into it if you dont see it that way, thats your business. But as far as situations it could depend who is right at that time. I dont know why Kobe did whatever he did.
I'm not saying that your mother is always right just that she must always be respected even when she does dumb shit. This whole confronting your parents and putting them in their place shit some people seem to be on is just wrong to me.
from what i have seen poorer americans treat their parents better than the rich ones. If your wife loves you she will humble herself to your mother and if your mother loves you she will not abuse her power over you and your wife.
But if the parent abuses that power that shouldn't go unchecked. Thats what some are talking about. Nothin wrong with you tellimg your parents to respect your marriage amd position as a man and head of your household
I hear what people are saying but fuck that i never place anyone above my moms or my father, in the first place my family don't play that shit i would get disowned, fuck that.
how the fuck are you going to check your parents what are you going to give them a speech, stop calling them how it that going to fix anything.
I think sometimes the best option is to simply ignore your parents, because if you address them and say the wrong thing you might end up in more trouble than before. I don't see how people put themselves in a position where their parents can influence their relationships to begin with.
This is what anti college people don't get. Trade school is just as big a waste of time as college if you have no drive. Plus trade school is called school for a reason. They still gotta study and pass shit to be certified
time out
are we really to the point of
arguing the financial burden of not completing a expensive undergraduate degree
oppose to that of not finishing trade school???
really?
I mean, you usually one of the most sensible cats posting here.....
Its all a risk. Every decision you make in life is a risk. There's no "sure shots". You can be a below average engineering student and be in the same boat as the Art majors.
Schools tell you to go to collegebut dont tell you nothing is guranteed. All a college degree does is give you an admission ticket to tryouts. You still gotta make the team with your skills, networking, and experience.
Ive seen people with interior design and tourism degrees actually make a good living because they had the passion, knowledge, and networking skills.
