@cain1 Nah, lying about your naughty-by-nature past isn't the best thing imo. Placing a veneer over your past in order to front a "perfect" father to the child is no good. Suppose she finds out --"well, you don't allow her to find out"--but suppose she does? You won't look too perfect then.
Everyone wants to protect their offspring, but I wouldn't do it at the cost of lying to them on such a grand scale...as to who you used to be and such.
Honesty is valued over lies that were used to "protect".
