The NY Bricks remind me of the Washington Redskins:
Won a few titles back in yesteryear, but more the most part, their relevance in today's sporting world is 95% due to the city ahead of the team name.
Been hot ass for most of the last 20 years, but had one hot season last year (winning their respective divisions), and everyone wanted to proclaim they were "back."
They have a star who can sell jerseys and get TV ratings, but on close inspection, that "star" isn't as good as people first thought. Not to mention their front offices are completely incompetent. This year is the result of all the fraudulence and stupidity coming to the surface, and that star getting exposed.
