like somebody said earlier in this thread, it's a lot of bay area artists who eatin good on the surface (a few major cats I know deal with these dudes though have them come do shows and what not) don't let the rental life fool you, they aint eatin like that.

Because that's exactly what happens. You don't see it cause you aint from here. We be sitting up over here laughing like "the fuck?, that shit old". But then it catches on and when somebody from here say it came from here while some other area gets the credit we get your response lol. let me give you some small examples(OF MANY).

the independent hustle that EVERYBODY is enjoying now at days ESPECIALLY THE SOUTH. Wasn't no hip hop labels down there. We promoted/collaborated with the south and sold they shit when we was "on". while the east cost blackballed/disowned the south)

the pimp/mac/player type rap/music

weed rap(ask bone, devin the dude, red and meth)

popping collars/dusting ya self off

ya feel me, ya dig, ya under dig, playa hater, hater, overstand, "yola", "white girl", "birds", "chickens", "pan cakes", "work", "candy", "ice cream", I'm on one, i'm gone, i'm lifted, i'm faded, i'm juiced, cup caking, simp, salty, square, suck-L, potna, hella, you got me/it twisted, took a L, da business, beat the breaks off, break em off, it's whatever, it's nothing, swag(the list goes on lol).


Because those suckas "play ball" with the industry and get that push to the rest of america/the world. Whatever they do catch on and becomes a trend everywhere. The problem is they don't show love, give a shot out or try to correct everybody and say where it came from. I'm speaking mainly on the east coast(mostly new york) and these new south niggas.
