the funny thing is that @zombie was actually making some good points about how business really works
cats just don't want to accept it because of their emotions/lack of real education when it comes to running a business
The way business really works for who? That sure as hell isn't how business works for the workers.
Like the stats said.
Americans think a ratio of CEO to worker pay at 30:1 is pushing it. They aren't even aware that in reality it's about 300:1. People would fight against someone earning $15 an hour saying its too much but think it unreasonable for a CEO to go from $12 million to $8 million a year.
And somehow the business "won't be able to sustain itself" if the suits earned $5-$8million a year as opposed to $12.
Y'all are chattel of the worst kind.
Some americans think the earth is 5000 years old. It's not my fault they are idiots. The workers can think whatever the fuck they want to think they don't own the company.
Anyone can flip burgers but the skills needed to be a corporate executive cannot be filled by just anyone. This hard reality further justifies their higher pay.
If a company can economically justifying paying 15 bucks then that's fine but mandatory salaries for simple work anyone could do it bullshit.
