Although not popular opinion imma go Be. 🤬 was flawless to me and the production matched him perfectly. Id go Like water for chocolate and Ressurection right after.

funny i was thinkin bout makin this same exact thread just yesterday. i think its finding forever personally but haven't explored his older music all that thoroghly.
but after listening to like water for chocolate i came to the conclusion that dilla wasnt as good a producer as they say he was, considering the one song he didnt produce on it was the best one -

Dilla is overrated to me, as far as technical skill goes.
however he has produced A LOT of good songs. His resume is top tier.
yea im not sayin he aint tight but since he died they act like he was GOAT producer.
i hadnt even heard of him till he died -
Be is a top to bottom classic to me.
Like Water for Chocolate was good, but not quite as good as Be.
I'd honestly say "One Day It'll All Make Sense" was better than "Like Water"
"A Song For Assata" feat Ceelo and "Retrospective for Life" feat Lauryn Hill are classic songs -

Kanye and Dilla KILLED it!
I kinda wish it had about two more tracks b/c the album is on the short side. The album keeps building & building and then.... it just ends, leaving me wanting for more. But at the same time it's perfect the way it is. -

I agree. Be is pretty good album, but I enjoy Electric Circus a lot. But I can see why a lot of people don't like it.
