Plus Mobb Deep debuted 6th on the Boards, with a 4 Mic Source album.
A name drop could've done more good then bad for an already successful Hell on Earth

what are u talking about mobb deep has never been
a succesful group according to soundcan and even
when pac said their names on hit em up
their record sales did'nt sky rocket.

Mobb Deeps catalog in the 90's speak for itself.

And when has Soundscan been right on who to like?

Damn I don't think I can even call it. Was in like Grade 11 or 12. Back when a nigga use to wake up early, head downtown, head to HMV so I could cop the new albums that came out on Tuesday and then head off to school. Alot of classics but Ironman and Hell On Earth regins supreme.

I rock Velour suits, flavors like mixed fruits
my loot get recouped razors in my suit
incase they try to troop me to the island
I known to start whylin back in New York, my soldiers got the cash pilin
peep this on some nose and teef shit

P ate Pac. Bottom line. You got niggas who probably wasnt even potty trained in 96, barking about what was going on then. Stop the madness. Alot of dope albums and shows made 96 a magical year. Ironman was untouchable. Nobody on that list was spitting like Ghost. Ironman started what would become the best, most consistent disography in rap history.

why are niggas voting reasonable doubt when in 96 nobody copped the album .....

with the hip hop releases the nba draft and the economy/morale of america 96 could easily go down as one of the greatest years the country has ever had .... with all the greatness we had that year reasonable doubt was a non factor ...

the mo thugs album was more potent on a consumer scale than reasonable doubt .....

Pac was da first mainstream hiphop artist to drop a double album (which was a classic),and then in dat same year drops another classic that was better than da double disc imo. Pac's da GOAT,no question.
