im out here workin for a major corporation, we gotta contract out our whole HR dept, and I still run into people and they're like "ooooooh, you working of for ______ , so if I send in an application you hook me up with a job, right" and i just smh and say i'll try, because they will never be able to even apply and they wouldn't even understand the reasons why I couldn't get them a job.

quick true story:

So im in subway ordering an Italian bmt, and the chick making my sub asked me was i muslim because i shouldnt be eating meat. (i have dreads, but i did have a full philly beard at the time) i say no and im offended you asked me that. so goes, aint nothin wrong wit being muslim, thats good. so some white ladies come in and i cut the convo short and button up. she continues with the finishing touches and says, "you really look upset, im sorry." i tell her its cool. then she asked me whats wrong with being a muslim and i tell her nothing is wrong, im just more proud to be black. as she is handing me my 5 dollar bill from the ten i gave her, she asks me again, so as im leaving the counter, i say, there is nothing wrong with being muslim, I just have no desire to live my life in the way of the a-rabs, and i walk out the shop. (my personal opinion. dont judge me.)

So later that day im tellin my cousin the story and he gonna say with a straight face " look, you should have said, but yo, i got a cousin and if i give you his number he'll talk all about islam with you!"

so YES 🤬 always lookin for da hook up and i cant handle it!
