One of the most dominate to play the game.
In before, someone talk about Olajuwon schooling him early in his career. -
4th greatest center ever. most dominating big man ever if not he is number 2
-
I won't post career stats because they took such a hit after bouncing around Cleveland, Boston and Phoenix.
But at his best, he was a 29.7ppg, 3bpg, 13rpg player. AND he played in the best Era of Centers (Hakeem the Dream, David Robinson, Patrick Ewing, Alonzo Mourning, Vlade Divac)
-
top 3 center all time
perhaps the best player post MJ
top 10 could be
top 15 most def -
Shaq will go down as the Mvp/Leader of 3 lakers title teams a top 6 scorer in history and the 2nd best big man of all time
If he woulda faced kareem, wilt,Russell,Mikan etc they all woulda got destroyed -

actually....isaih thomas got screwed -
Top 5 greatest player.
-
Isiah just made the wrong people mad. Shaq was far away better than Laettner. -
Naw in college for 4 years Laetner was the best and earned it. Isiah got royally screwed -
Peopke forget laetner was a beast in college....
-
Top 2 center. Top 7-8 player.
Center-wise, only Kareem I'd say was better.
Player-wise: Kareem, Mike, Magic, Bird, Big O, Duncan, and Kobe top him....and Kobe and Shaq are VERY debatable. -
I wouldn't put Duncan or Kobe above Shaq.
Duncan has only averaged more than 23ppg ONCE in his career. His blocks and rebounds are roughly the same, or less than Shaqs. Shaq scored a lot more than Duncan.
Kobe had one insane year where he averaged 35ppg. Other than that, his best years don't look a whole lot different than guys like McGrady and Iversons best years.
-
Most dominating player to EVER play the game. The league had to change the rules (aka flopping) just to stop him from completely taking over the game.
He's DEFINITELY top 5 to do it. -

🤬 are you serious? the second part of your statement should get you permanently banned. -
Duncan is the greatest forward of all time.
Smh -
Kareem Wilt and Hakeem are better than Shaq... Hakeem was the all time block leader as well... He chopped Shaq up in the Finals... Best center Ive seen with my eyes
-
He's the top 5 center probably the fourth best center of all time
Kareem
Wilt
Hakeem
Shaq
In that order in my opinion. I use to watch Hakeem regularly abuse guys like Shaq, David Robinson, Patrick Ewing, etc. Next to Jordan, Hakeem is probably the second best player I've witnessed play in real time. -
He's top 10 if the NBA were to shut down today.
He wont be top 10 after everyone currently playing is done with their careers.
