imo it was one of the best storylines ever, but I remember hearing some of what happened was actually true and just written into storyline, that cm punk was pretty 🤬 close to leaving. Does anyone know how much was actually kayfabe and how much was real?

His contract really ended but it was apart of the storyline for him to "leave" the company as the WWE champion. He was planning on re-signing anyways.
