Random Athlete Encounters

I'm sure some of us here have randomly ran into a professional athlete. Any stories? Just yesterday I was driving down Indian Head Highway in PG County, MD and Delonte West pulled up to me in a BMW smoking Newports like it was nothing lol. Threw up the dueces, and kept it pushing lol.

Last September I met Kevin Durant in Pentagon City Mall. His tall ass walked behind me and I just noticed a big ass shadow, looked up and was like "Damn 🤬 you tall as 🤬 . Oh it's Kevin Durant". He was cool as 🤬 though, just chilling like he came from balling or something. Like an hr later when I was leaving saw him sitting in the food court and he looked awkward as 🤬 sitting in those little ass chairs though lol

i used to live in vegas so i would cats all the time:

going to the gym saw moses malone and got his autograph

leaving the gym and saw baron davis shooting around walked up on him and he was cool ass 🤬 ; asked to play home one on one and he declined and said he would but he just had knee surgery a few weeks ago

at this pool party at the rio in 2001, saw floyd before he got the huge ego and nobody really knew who he was..chatted it up with him for a bit..he probably thought i was going to rob him since he was by himself and i was towering over his little ass

I met dan marino in myrtle beach. he was eating a burger and had his hat tilted real low trying not to be seen.

went to rip hamilton basketball camp when i was younger and rip is a cool 🤬 even though he has a huge ego

I met C-Webb at my grandma church he was doing some community service there after he had the purjary charges for lying in court. C-Webb is cool as hell. Got him to autogragh this hat that was already signed by Jalen Rose and Jimmy King cuz I had ran into them in Detroit hooping at St. Cecilia gym a week prior

I walked down the street with cam newton a couple weeks ago. He was pretending not to be cam newton so I didn't mess with him. But I was still honored

Ran into Mario Williams at wal-mart once. It was like 2 in the morning...he was cool though we chopped it up for a few mins.

I was in the Park Shops(a mall in downtown Houston) with my homeboy one day eating at subway and I saw this tall ass white boy standing in line....it was Mike Dunleavy Jr so I went up to him and told him I was a big duke fan and a fan of his. He said apprecuate it and asked if we were going to the game that night(the warriors were in town playing the rockets).

I said no and he told me and my 🤬 to come to the will call window and he would have two tickets waiting for us....he did. Cool 🤬

I also met josh smith, josh childress and Marvin Williams in the same mall coming out of the t mobile store...coincidently I had just bought a slam magazine(with melo and ai on the cover) and it had a story on josh smith in it and he signed it f.or me...all them tall ass 🤬 were cool

I met Brevin Knight in Orlando about 10 years ago (I know y'all hating on the star power I'm dropping on you lol). He sat next to me at a restaraunt with his family, he was mad cool we talked basketball and he gave me some advice on how to run the one I was trying to make my high school team at the time.

I met Daryl Strawberry & Bobby Valentine as well didn't have convos at the same length but both were cool as 🤬 .

*Hooped with romo and t.o., they both can hoop.
*Used to workout in the same gym as Lemarcus Aldridge when he went to Seagoville, real nice dude.
*Met Marino, he was cool kinda arrogant
*Got an autograph from Franco Harris, he was on base one day
*Met Roy Williams(safety), I think dude is sweet(no bawse d. lox), Steve Smith, Julius Peppers got to go on the field because I'm air force.
*Deion used to come in the wal-mart I worked at back in the day with his 🤬 ass kids. He whips a mini-van, his house in Prosper is nice as 🤬 though.
*Met Jerome Bettis and Rod Woodson when I used to live in pittsburgh, Bettis is one of the nicest dudes you'll ever meet, Rod a certified 🤬 .
*chopped it up with brandon jennings and nolan smith when they played for Oak Hill. Them 🤬 rolled like some celebrities even when they were in high school.

Saw Brook Lopez at Disneyland the year LA/Boston had their rematch in the finals.

Dude was a foot taller than everybody else and were like "Yo, that has to be somebody from the league.".. Cool guy. It seemed like we were the only people who stopped him. He blended right in.. If that's even possible

I heard c-webb was real cool also. My dad's friend is cool with him to the point where he had keys to his crib(which is odd because he's a lame ass white dude lol). I heard he used to talk hella 🤬 about how crazy Tyra Banks ass was. Speaking of one person I forgot is curtis martin. He comes in my grandads store from time to time in PA, back in the day he used to talk about how Toni Braxton used to stalk his ass and clown her I was mad young then though...
