Trunks traveling back in time did nothing but make a parallel universe... this whole arc was a retcon/dues ex machina that's going to need another dues ex machina lol that's why story tellers should stay away from time travel and they know that that's why in the beginning of the arc whis and beerus mentioned that time travel is a serious offense -
